HLB Announces EGP Towel Warmer Receives Best New Product Award
posted by hdittmer at 4:52 PM
Chicago, IL - Herbst LaZar Bell Inc (HLB), the internationally recognized product design consulting firmfirm known for such breakthrough products as the Motorola NFL Headset, iRobot Roomba Discovery Floorvac, and the Papermate Liquid Correction Pen, recently announced that the Thermique Glass Towel Warmer they helped to
design for Engineered Glass Products (EGP) won the Best New Bath Product Award at the 2005 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). This innovative towel warmer that mounts to the wall was chosen out of more than a hundred new products on display at the 2005 KBIS New Product Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nev.
The elegant design of the Thermique Towel Warmer is the first thing to catch people's attention then, once they feel the warmth of the glass, they are amazed, said Mike Hobbs, CEO of EGP. Considering the spectacular array of new technology on display at KBIS, we couldnÕt be more proud that the voters chose this product as the best new bath product of the year.
The Thermique™ Towel Warmer is an elegant alternative to traditional radiator towel warmers, offering quick warm-up and consistent heat control. The Thermique™ technology achieves a uniform heating surface across the entire pane of glass through the use of invisible thin film conductors. The glass can be customized with monograms or logos and is available in different metal finishes. According to EGP, this towel warmer is ideal for luxury hotels, upscale homes, and day spas.
The Hot Glass Technology of the Thermique™ Towel Warmer is also being developed for other commercial applications, including heated architectural windows, warming shelves for high-end stoves, hot food display cases, stovetop burners, and more. For more information on heated glass technologies, visit the EGP web site at www.egpglass.com.
