Phil Corse China Sourcing Presentation Featured on BusinessPOV.com

Chicago, IL. - Phil Corse of Herbst LaZar Bell Inc. (HLB) recently gave a presentation on China Sourcing to the Industrial Designer's Society of America-Chicago chapter at the IIT Institute of Design. Specifically, the presentation illustrates a single-gate process that begins with extensive user research and culminates with an engineered product platform. Mr. Corse is a Senior Vice President, Marketing Consulting Services for HLB (www.hlb.com), a product design consultancy. Clients have included Hewlett Packard, Samsung, Motorola, Microsoft, Kraft, 3M, Abbott, and Fortune Brands. He is also CEO of Connectables, LLC, a China sourcing and trading company, as well as an adjunct associate professor of marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
He has had a range of experiences sourcing products and entering markets in Asia for the past 25 years. His marketing consulting practice specializes in product development and primary user research. Herein he discusses the logistics of working in China.
