(April 15, 2011) – HLB, long known as Herbst LaZar Bell, the award-winning product design consulting firm, announced that it is a named supplier for a 2011 Medical Design Excellence Award winning product. The LipiView Ocular Surface Interferometer, by Tear Science, is an ophthalmic imaging device that is intended for use by a physician in adult patients to capture, archive, manipulate and store digital images of specular (interferometric) observations of the tear film, which can be visually monitored and photographically documented.
